Reverend Dr. Jim Holley has served in the Piety Hill community for over 50 years. Holley is the Senior Pastor for the Historic Little Rock Baptist Church, one of largest institutions in Detroit. Right across the street from the church is the new development; Rev. Dr. Jim Holley Residences. The goal Rev. Dr. Jim Holley mission was to create a place for people to grow old in. These residences has 60 one-bedroom units specially designed for senior living. Seniors will not pay more than 30% of their income on rent since each apartment will be supplied at or below 50% of the region median income. This is to ensure there is affordable housing for residents to able to stay in their homes for a long time.
